How to prepare a plan for upcoming workouts¶
What this is for¶
A plan is a reusable template of exercises. Starting a session copies the exercises and their parameters, so later plan changes no longer affect a saved session.
How to get there¶
Choose SPORT → Training plans (/trainings-plans).
Step by step¶
- Choose New plan; enter a Name and optionally a Training type.
- Choose Create plan. The plan details open.
- Enter an Exercise, fill in the parameters and choose Add. Repeat for the next exercises.
- Use the Move exercise up and Move exercise down icons to set the order. The Edit exercise icon lets you change an exercise and save it with Save.
- Choose Start session in the details or on the plan card. A session is created and the app switches to Trainings.
- Record further completion in the training session.
Fields and options¶
| Field or action | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name | Required plan name. |
| Training type | Any description of the plan type, e.g. a workout split; it is not the Walk session type choice. |
| Exercise, Sets, Reps, Weight (kg) | Exercise name and parameters. |
| Notes (optional) | Notes copied along with the exercise into the session. |
| Duplicate | A copy of the plan and its exercises without session history, available in the card menu. |
| Recently used, Name A–Z, Most exercises | Plan sorting. |
| Search plans or exercises… | Search by plan name, type or exercise name. |
Common mistakes / pitfalls¶
- Start session is unavailable for a plan without exercises.
- Starting from a plan creates a Gym session, regardless of the plan's Training type text.
- Delete on a plan also removes its sessions and exercises; the confirmation shows the number of linked sessions. Do not use it just to hide a template.
- The session count and last use on the card include open sessions as well; they are not a count of finished workouts only.
